In 2011, as a graduating high school senior, I was terrified at what the next few years would hold. I’d been accepted to Wheaton College in Norton, MA, which, although it was only 40 minutes from home, seemed like an unbearable distance for someone who was used to spending every weekend with her family. The future was zooming towards me at full speed and there was nothing I could do to stop it.
With this in mind, I decided to create a site where I would be able to express all of the anxious thoughts and feelings without judgment, a site that would help me grapple with the chaotic world around me, a site where I could say “Hey there, future. Nice to see you again.” And so, this blog was born.
I have since graduated from Wheaton (Class of 2015, represent!) and am currently pursuing a career in television. (If you know of any TV opportunities I might be interested in, or you heard from a friend of a friend that Leonardo Dicaprio would like to have lunch with me, feel free to contact me.) On the side, I also work as a freelance blogger, covering everything from technology to pop culture to cute animals to fun words. (You can find writing and video samples on my portfolio page.)
As always, thanks for reading.
